About me
Dr. Glass currently serves as an HQIM Consultant for K-5 RLA/SLAR & Math at Region 10, for teaching and learning. With 18 years of experience across elementary and university settings—from classroom teaching to instructional coaching, curriculum writing, and facilitating district-wide professional development—she is dedicated to enhancing educator capacity in early literacy.As a bilingual educator and advocate for struggling readers, Dr. Glass is passionate about delivering equitable, science-based literacy instruction to diverse learners. She holds a Principalship and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in Spanish Literature from Wichita State University. Her dissertation examined the relationship between teacher literacy content knowledge and student literacy acquisition. Dr. Glass is married and enjoys reading, traveling, and hiking.
